I collect personal information, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails, when voluntarily provided. We use this data to:

Deliver requested services. Your phone number(s) may be kept in my business mobile phone with your first name and last initial. Only I will access your information.

Contact you about your use of the site.
Next of kin/medical professional’s details – If I was worried that you were at risk then I may need to contact your next of kin or medical professional, if I can. I will let you know when/if I am going to do this.

Confidentiality

I keep brief notes of our session(s), these are very minimal and stored for 7 years in accordance with Australian Government Health Records Act 2001. In the case of minors records are kept for 7 years beyond the age the child turns 18 years old. This retention of private information is also in accordance with my insurer.

Notes are stored as hard copy in a in a fireproof locked filing cabinet. Any online information, is stored with your initials to my password protected computer. After this 7 year time period I will destroy any document with your personal information and delete your phone number out of my mobile phone.

It is very unlikely that I will share your data. I will not sell it on or use it for unethical reasons. I may have to share it if my notes are subpoenaed by court, if you or anyone you tell me about is at harm or risk of harm I may have to pass this information on. I may also discuss your case during RTT® professional development but I will use a pseudonym and ensure no details are revealed that will make you identifiable.

All data is kept in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Victorian Government Privacy & Data Protection Act 2014.
